The slogan for Akismet is: Remember the days before spam?

I know I do, and I remember saying "I think that is some sort of robot adding comments. How interesting."

The point I am trying to make here is not that spam has increased. My point is that I said that only three years ago.

There are so many changes happening on the 'Net all the time. I try to keep up in a general sort of way. I wonder if the changes are apparent to my friends who are less web aware. I would assume they are not, and I wonder what sort of things would need to happen before the rank and file would notice.

Funny thing, I think changes will be gradual and slip under the radar.
